Therapy for women who look like they have it together but feel overwhelmed inside.
You may be carrying a lot more than people realize.
On the outside, things may look fine, but inside, it can feel like constant pressure, emotional exhaustion, or like you’re always holding everything together.
You don’t have to keep doing it alone.
Seeking support during difficult times takes courage, and I’m here to walk alongside you. I provide a welcoming space for all, offering guidance and support as you navigate life’s challenges.
I take a warm, non-judgmental, collaborative, and client-centered approach. Every session is tailored to your unique needs, and I approach our work with respect, sensitivity, and compassion.
Charlene McCleoud, Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Internal Family Systems (IFS) Level 1-Trained
you may be here because:
You feel emotionally overwhelmed even when life looks “fine.”
You’re constantly holding it together for everyone else
Part of you wants change, but another part feels stuck
Your body feels tense, shut down, exhausted, or on edge
How this may be showing up for you:
When your thoughts won’t give you a break
You might notice your mind doesn’t slow down, even when you want it to.
You’re thinking about what could go wrong, replaying conversations, or trying to stay one step ahead of everything.
On the outside, you may look like you have it together…
but inside, your body feels on edge tight chest, racing thoughts, difficulty relaxing.
Even when nothing is “wrong,” it still feels like too much.
Carrying what others don’t always see
You may be carrying experiences that others don’t fully see or understand.
Moments where you felt judged, dismissed, or had to question how you show up in certain spaces.
Times when you had to hold your emotions in just to get through the day.
It can feel exhausting to navigate systems, relationships, or environments where you don’t always feel safe, seen, or understood.
And over time, that weight doesn’t just go away; it stays with you.
Feeling overwhelmed and stretched thin
You might feel like you’re constantly “on,” trying to keep up with everything and everyone.
Your mind is juggling a lot, and your body is feeling the tension, exhaustion, irritability, or just feeling stretched too thin.
Even when you try to rest, it’s hard to fully settle.
It’s not just stress, it’s the feeling of carrying too much for too long.
When everything starts to feel heavy
You may still be showing up for your life…
but it feels different now.
Things that used to feel manageable feel heavier.
Your energy is low, your motivation is off, or you feel more disconnected from yourself, from others, or from things you used to enjoy.
Some days it’s sadness.
Other days it’s just feeling numb or tired of trying.
Holding it together for your child while feeling overwhelmed
You love your child, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy.
You may be trying to balance everything: your responsibilities, your emotions, your identity, while still showing up the way you want to as a parent.
There are moments you question yourself…
wonder if you’re doing enough…
or feel pulled in too many directions at once.
And somewhere in all of that, it’s easy to lose space for yourself.
Using nervous system-informed therapy, parts work, and mindfulness to help you feel grounded, clear, and more connected to yourself. Finding Hope, Compassion, and Healing Collectively.
Trying to get through the day the best you can
You’ve likely found ways to get through because you had to.
But some of those ways may not be working the way they used to… or maybe they never fully did.
You might push things down, stay busy, avoid, or try to “just deal with it.”
And part of you is starting to realize… You need something different.
Something that actually helps you feel more steady, more grounded, and more like yourself again.
I combine:
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
To help you understand the different parts of you that are protecting, reacting, or feeling stuck.
Nervous System Regulation
To help your body move out of survival mode.

About Collective Insight
Collective Insight Therapy Services, LLC, was founded on my own personal experience. I was searching for spaces that felt safe, culturally aware, and genuinely supportive. I wanted a place full of warmth, transparency, and positive energy where people could truly feel seen. When I couldn’t find it, I decided to build it myself and share it with others.
Our practice offers mental health support for individuals seeking to feel safe being their authentic selves without judgment. Here, you can explore, heal, and grow in a space that honors your journey.
