Anxiety

Anxiety affects many people and can feel like intense worry or fear about everyday situations. It may show up as racing thoughts, a fast heartbeat, sweaty hands, or feeling on edge. You don’t have to face it alone. If anxiety is limiting your life or making you feel stuck, we can explore next steps and find support that fits your needs.

Racial Identity

Experiences of racial bias, discrimination, and trauma can have lasting emotional and mental effects. BIPOC individuals often face unique challenges in systems of inequality. In therapy, you’ll find a safe, understanding space to explore your feelings, share your story, and process these experiences with compassion and respect.

Depression can feel like a dark cloud, affecting your mood, energy, and daily life. It may manifest as persistent sadness, low motivation, irritability, withdrawal, or changes in sleep patterns, appetite, or self-esteem. You don’t have to face this alone. If depression is impacting your life, I can help you explore what you’re experiencing and work with you to find supportive strategies and treatment options that fit your needs. Together, we can create the changes you want to see for yourself.

Stress

Stress is a normal part of life, but when it becomes overwhelming, it can contribute to anxiety, depression, or burnout. It can show up as irritability, fatigue, difficulty concentrating, physical tension, or emotional overwhelm. Everyone handles stress differently, and what works for one person may not work for another. If your current strategies aren’t helping, we can explore practical, personalized techniques to manage stress and create a more balanced daily life.

Parenting

Parenting is hard work; it’s a full-time, challenging process that helps guide your child toward independence. Many parents find themselves balancing expectations, discovering their own identity, or trying to create a healthy work-life balance. It’s normal to experience a mix of emotions along the way. As your therapist, I provide support, guidance, and practical tools in a non-judgmental setting, helping you navigate the challenges and questions you may encounter on your parenting journey.

Everyone copes differently, and what works can change depending on life’s challenges. In our sessions, we’ll explore and build your personal coping toolbox, practical tools to help you manage stress, reset your mind and body, and feel more balanced.

We may practice techniques such as mindfulness, meditation, deep breathing, movement or dance, journaling, goal-setting, or creating your own safe spaces and support systems. We’ll also explore ways to reconnect with your values, culture, or spiritual practices, establish healthy routines, and identify patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

Each session is tailored to your unique needs. Together, we’ll identify the strategies and practices that fit your current situation and support your healing, growth, and overall well-being. Change starts with you, and I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
